Meet Our Team

Dr. Will Van Den Berg

Dr. Van Den Berg completed his medical training in South Africa and subsequently relocated to Canada, completing a residency in Anaesthesiology at the University of Manitoba. He then worked in Manitoba and Ontario practicing Family Medicine, Anesthesiology, surgical assisting, ER shifts, on-call, walk-in clinics, and even did prenatal care and delivered many babies.

After 15 wonderful and rewarding years it was time to reduce the workload and simplify life, so Will moved to B.C. and went back to basics, practicing Family Medicine only. He practiced in Whistler for a number of years before moving to the Okanagan and settling in Peachland.  When Beachside Health opened, Will joined immediately and life was great again!

Will’s passions are travelling and exploring new places, especially in Europe where he enjoys the history and culture—and what better way to do this than on foot or bicycle?! When at home, Will enjoys cooking and baking, cycling, hiking, swimming, and cross-country skiing.
