Sports Medicine

Dr. Panesar, Sports Medicine

Dr. Panesar specializes in the non-surgical treatment of pain and injuries of both athletes and non-athletes alike.  He is interested in helping anyone improve their overall health and activity levels and attain maximum functionality in their everyday lives. Dr. Panesar will accept referrals for:

General MSK/sports medicine assessments

Ultrasound guided joint injections (Cortisone, Hyaluronic Acid and prolotherapy):

- Shoulders                      - Elbows

- Hips (intra-articular and lateral gluteal bursa)

Dr. Jeff Wong General Pediatrics & Pediatric Respirology

Dr. Chin “Jeff” Wong, a general pediatrician and pediatric respirologist accredited by the Royal College, is accepting new referrals at Beachside Health. With decades of experience rooted in compassion and commitment to children’s health, Dr. Wong can see your patients with timely, family-centered care. Beachside Health is in Peachland, with easy access to the Okanagan region.

Dr. Katherine Bielas. Primary Care Dermatology

Dr. Katarzyna Bielas graduated from the Schulich School of Medicine at Western University in Ontario in 2012 before going on to specialize in Family Medicine. She is a fellow with the College of Family Physicians as well as a member of the Primary Care Dermatology Society of Canada. Dr. Bielas holds a Diploma in Dermoscopy from the University of Cardiff and a Certificate in Neuromodulator Cosmetics and Hyaluronic Acid Filler Treatments.

Working as a Primary Care Dermatologist since 2020, Dr. Bielas specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of medical skin conditions.  Dr. Bielas is a versatile physician with extensive surgical experience and in addition to her Primary Care Dermatology Practice at Beachside, also works at Kelowna General Hospital as a Surgical Assistant in the Department of Plastic Surgery.

Appointments are only available to those with a doctor’s referral and will be coordinated through your primary care physician.

Dr. David Ewing. Accepting referrals for skin cancer medicine.

Originally from Alberta, Dr. David Ewing graduated with his Doctor of Medicine from Griffith University, Australia.  Dave is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has completed additional post graduate qualifications in psychiatry and skin cancer medicine.

Dr. Ewing specializes in dermoscopy and skin cancer detection.

Appointments are only available to those with a doctor’s referral and will be coordinated through your primary care physician.

Internal Medicine and Nephrology

Dr. Yves Clouâtre graduated from the University of Montreal Medical School, also obtaining LMCC (Licentiate of Medical Council of Canada), the same year. Following intensive emergency room practice in a Quebec remote area as well as in a Montreal tertiary hospital, he became specialized in Internal Medicine as well as Nephrology in 1998. After working for 3 years as a Chief Nephrologist in a teaching hospital affiliated with University Laval (Quebec), he moved to BC in 2001.

After several years as a nephrologist, including Chief of Nephrology at Penticton Regional Hospital, in 2009 he became a part time Clinical Instructor in Medicine at his Alma Mater (University of Montreal Medicine Hospital), collaborating at the same time to Mc Gill Medicine Hospital. 

He has kept an active clinical practice in Internal Medicine and Nephrology since 1999.
